Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms govern your use of The Intelligence Engine (“the service”). By creating an account you agree to them. Plain-English summaries are included, but the full text is what applies.
The service
The Intelligence Engine turns financial data you upload into dashboards, metrics, forecasts, reports, and AI-generated written analysis. We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” without warranties; we may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.
Your account and your data
You are responsible for your login credentials and for the data you upload — only upload data you own or are authorised to use. You keep all rights to your data; you grant us the limited licence needed to process it for delivering the service (and nothing else). We never sell your data.
Not financial advice
Dashboards, scores, forecasts, and AI briefings are automated analysis of the data you provide. They are for information only and do not constitute accounting, tax, investment, or other regulated financial advice. Always verify significant decisions with a qualified professional.
Fair use
AI features (briefings and document imports) carry per-day fair-use limits, shown at the point of use. Attempting to circumvent limits, probe other customers’ data, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes will result in account termination.
Trials and billing
New accounts may include a free trial. When paid plans apply, prices are shown before you subscribe, billing is handled by Stripe, and you can cancel any time — access continues to the end of the paid period. After a trial or subscription ends, your dashboard may become read-only until you subscribe; your data is not deleted by that alone.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on automated analysis, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending things
You can close your account at any time, which removes your company’s live data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be flagged in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Contact: oliverthompson2008@outlook.com.
